These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and the owner and operator of OTEEPracticeTest.com (“OTEEPracticeTest.com,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms apply when you visit oteepracticetest.com, use a free practice test, create an account, purchase access, or use any part of our OTEE preparation platform. By using the platform or completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. Our Platform

OTEEPracticeTest.com provides independent educational resources for applicants preparing for the CBSA Officer Trainee Entrance Exam. The platform may include free and paid practice tests, timed exams, competency-focused practice, scores, answer reviews, explanations, retakes, rotating question selections, and Technical Proctored Mode. The product features, price, currency, and access period displayed at checkout form part of your purchase.

2. Independent Preparation Service

CBSA OTEEPracticeTest.com is an independent exam-preparation platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, approved by, or officially connected to the Canada Border Services Agency or the Government of Canada. All questions, answers, and explanations are independently developed. They are not official, copied, leaked, or previously administered CBSA examination questions. Official CBSA instructions and requirements always take priority over information published on our platform.

3. Educational Purpose

The platform is provided for educational and preparation purposes only. Practice scores are not official CBSA results. We do not control your official exam score, eligibility, recruitment progress, employment outcome, or decisions made by CBSA.

Except for the conditional benefit described in our separate Pass Guarantee and Refund Policy, we do not guarantee any specific score, result, appointment, employment opportunity, or progress through the CBSA selection process. Practice questions are designed to support preparation but are not intended to predict the exact questions or outcome of an official examination.

4. Accounts and Access

Paid access is personal to the original purchaser. After a successful purchase, an account may be created using the email address entered during checkout. You are responsible for providing an accurate email address, protecting your password, and maintaining the security of your account.

You may not share, sell, rent, transfer, or provide your account or purchased access to another person. Unless another period is clearly stated at checkout, Full Access remains active for 365 days from the purchase date.

The question bank is accessed through exams and retakes. It is not provided as a separately downloadable or browsable database.

5. Practice-Test Rules

Unless the test interface states otherwise:

  • Tests cannot be paused.
  • Submitted answers cannot be changed.
  • Users cannot return to earlier questions.
  • Unanswered questions may be recorded as unanswered.
  • Results and explanations appear after submission.
  • Interrupted attempts may need to be restarted.

You are responsible for ensuring that your device, browser, internet connection, and power supply are suitable before beginning a test.

6. Technical Proctored Mode

Technical Proctored Mode uses full-screen enforcement only. It does not use your webcam or microphone. The first exit from full-screen mode generates a warning. A second exit may automatically submit and end the test. If an attempt closes because of a browser refresh, internet interruption, power failure, device problem, or similar issue, the incomplete attempt may not be submitted or recoverable. A desktop computer, laptop, or MacBook using a current version of Google Chrome is strongly recommended.

7. Results

After submission, the results page may show your score, selected answers, correct or incorrect status, unanswered questions, correct answers, explanations, and competency percentages where applicable.

Results may only remain available during the current browser session and may not be permanently stored in your account. Paid users may contact us to request an available attempt record. We cannot guarantee recovery of interrupted, expired, deleted, or technically unavailable attempt data.

8. Payments and Refunds

You agree to pay the price, currency, taxes, and final total displayed at checkout. Payments may be facilitated by third-party payment providers for payment processing, invoicing, tax administration, fraud prevention, refunds, and chargeback management. Their own terms and privacy practices may also apply to payment processing.

The standard Full Access package is a one-time purchase and does not renew automatically unless recurring billing is clearly displayed and accepted at checkout. Refunds and Pass Guarantee claims are governed by our separate Pass Guarantee and Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Except where that policy or applicable law provides otherwise, digital purchases are final, non-transferable, and non-refundable. An approved refund may immediately end the related account and remaining access.

9. Intellectual Property

All practice questions, answers, explanations, exam arrangements, written content, graphics, interfaces, software, databases, branding, and website materials are owned by or licensed to OTEEPracticeTest. Your purchase gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use the platform for your own non-commercial preparation.

You may not:

  • Share your account or purchased access.
  • Copy, photograph, record, publish, or distribute questions.
  • Share screenshots or recordings of paid materials.
  • Sell or resell platform access or content.
  • Scrape or automatically extract content.
  • Use our materials to create or improve a competing service.
  • Bypass payment, access, full-screen, or security controls.
  • Submit dishonest refunds, chargebacks, or guarantee claims.
  • Upload or distribute confidential official examination materials.
  • Use the platform unlawfully or to cheat during an official assessment.

We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe these rules have been violated.

10. Platform Availability

We aim to keep the platform accurate, secure, and available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed. We may update questions, explanations, interfaces, exam pools, and technical features when reasonably necessary. We are not responsible for interruptions caused by internet outages, hosting failures, power failures, cyberattacks, payment-provider problems, device incompatibility, maintenance, or events outside our reasonable control.

11. Disclaimer and Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the platform is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee:

  • Compatibility with every browser or device.
  • Permanent storage of every result.
  • Uninterrupted access.
  • That practice questions will match the official OTEE.
  • A particular official score or recruitment outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses arising from use of the platform. This includes loss of opportunity, recruitment delay, unsuccessful assessment results, loss of data, technical interruption, or decisions made by CBSA or another third party.

Our total liability relating to a paid purchase will not exceed the amount paid for that specific purchase. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Information may be processed as reasonably necessary to provide tests, create accounts, process payments, prevent misuse, provide support, maintain security, and operate the platform.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when our platform, technology, security requirements, policies, or legal obligations change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the platform after revised Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms. Changes will not remove rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

14. General Terms

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Pass Guarantee and Refund Policy, and terms displayed at checkout, form the complete agreement concerning use of the platform. If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision immediately does not waive our right to enforce it later. You may not transfer your account or rights under these Terms.
